Karagiozis's stomach growls once again from hunger when Hatziavatis makes him a proposal: to work on the barba-Floros ship that will sail to Egypt. Karagiozis accepts in many ways. They take Nionios, Stavrakas and Barba-Giorgos with them. The ship sails but on the tenth day a great storm comes. After many attempts, they manage to land on a small island. And the adventure begins, since this island is inhabited by wild cannibals. Will they be saved? For their good luck, however, a pleasant surprise awaits them ...
The Shadow Theater has such deep roots in our folk tradition that it has not stopped moving even today. Karagiozis, his central hero, is a popular character, true and irreconcilable. He speaks out of his teeth, satirizes his poverty and says what he thinks in a unique and unrepeatable way. However, every adventure of Karagiozis, as well as the other heroes of the Theater of Shadows, conveys the message that humor is a necessary element in our lives to maintain our optimism and to face with more force the difficulties that happen to all of us.
