An abstract poet accidentally enters the palace garden and falls madly in love with the beautiful Tirando, the daughter of King Pahouloutsikos of Polygnomos. But because, out of joy, he breaks the forbidden signs and starts making mounds on the royal grass and plucking daisies - something that is forbidden, of course strictly - the king sentences him to death. The guards lead the poet to the square and the executioner prepares to execute him. But then, one after the other, the messengers of the undecided king begin to arrive, who constantly changes his mind about the manner in which the convict is executed. With what will it be executed in the end? With an ax, with a pan or with pepper? Unless, of course, love is executed and triumphed…
